Berkeley Kite Festival
Yesterday, my partner went sailing with his dad, leaving me on my own for the day. I decided to go down to the Berkeley Kite Festival, which was fantastic. I borrowed my neighbor's digital camera (thanks, Katy!) and packed my sock in progress, which remains nameless. (If you have a suggestion for a name for these socks, leave a comment).
Here are the results of yesterday:
The (current) sock visits the Berkeley Kite Festival. Some of the Japanese kite flyers (Hamamatsu Tako) who were in town with their kites.
I also got some pictures of an astounding hat. Sighting this hat made me think, "What was this woman thinking? Who made this hat and what were they thinking?"
Alas, blogger is not allowing me to upload more pictures at the moment.
In the next post: Pics of my sock, pics of the amazing hat, and a little story about booties.
